I worked on Suicide Squad as an Advanced Environment Artist while at Rocksteady. Throughout the project, I had ownership of the Daily Planet; the exterior of the building was part of the critical path; it featured the main building itself and several smaller low-rise buildings and floating gardens. As the building was a key iconic landmark location, it required a lot of revisions to get the right look and hit the streamlined architecture in such a large structure.

I was responsible for taking the level from greybox blockout to alpha, beta, bug fixing, and optimisation. This included working with the design team to adjust and edit the space for gameplay and working with the cinematic team for story-specific cinematics. I also oversaw the outsourcing process for the assets our external vendors created, including blocking out base meshes, requesting outsourced support, and reviewing and providing feedback. As well as this I created a lot of the hero props and material work, including set dressing and polishing the environment.

Thank you to my environment team and broader team at Rocksteady who helped with the levels.
